We are a very dynamic and active local group. We organise a variety of events each year. Below are shown the next few for each category.
Walks
We organise around 50 walks throughout the year. These are usuallly held on Thursdays or at the week-end. Non-members are welcome to try them out.

Other
We also arrange various other events throughout the year. For our complete list of other events, please go to our Other page.
Coach trips
Coaches leave from the large Car Park in Guildford Park Road, Guildford GU2 7NL. The entrance is down the unnamed turning next to Guildford Park Church. There is a parking fee on Saturdays.
In severe weather, a trip may be cancelled. Check with Trish Watts.
Non-members can book for coach trips but will have to pay an extra £10. This includes membership of our Local Group until the end of the year.
A few seats are available free of charge for accompanied young people (age 12-18). Contact Trish Watts to book a free seat.
Fundraising events
Each year our group raises large sums for the RSPB. These range from stalls at local events, jumble sales, plant sale and more.
Social events
We arrange several social events each year. This is a way for people to get to know each other better and are usually only open to members of our local group.
Holidays
Two holiday trips are organised each year. Usually we have one longer one in the spring and a shorter one in the autumn. Participation in holiday trips is restricted to our members.
Special events
We sometimes arrange bird ID sessions and other special events. See individual event for details.
External events
When possible we will include events at local RSPB reserves
