Farnham Heath RSPB Reserve
The RSPB is inviting you to come and 'pull a pine' at Farnham Heath! It's a great opportunity to help maintain your local nature reserve by aiding us in the removal of invasive young pine trees. As an added bonus you can also choose and cut down your own Christmas tree straight from the heath!
Tools will be provided with instructions on use, you may want to bring some outdoor gloves. If you bring your Dog, please make sure it is kept on a lead during this Family Event. Be prepared for wet, uneven ground and we are sorry but this part of the heath is not suitable for mobility scooters or wheelchairs.
Light refreshments, Christmas Cards and Goods will be for sale.
Entry to Pull-a-pine is £10 per car, or £5 for members, and our trees are free! CASH ONLY PLEASE
Take the B3001 south from Farnham. Take the right hand fork, signposted Tilford, immediately past the level crossing. Keep to that road. Just outside Tilford village it is signed to the Rural Life Centre. Follow those signs. Entrance is on the right after 0.5 mile (c1 km).
The reserve is next door to the Rural Life Centre so come to the Car Park at the Rural Life Centre where we will direct you where to go.
